3. Responsible person under §18(2) MStV

The Service is a financial model generation tool; it does not publish journalistic-editorial content within the meaning of §18(2) of the Medienstaatsvertrag (MStV). If journalistic-editorial content is added in the future (for example, an editorial blog or newsletter), the responsible person (Verantwortlich im Sinne des §18 Abs. 2 MStV) will be identified here with name and address.

4. Online dispute resolution and consumer arbitration

The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (Art. 14 of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013) was shut down on 20 July 2025 and the obligation to link to it has been repealed; accordingly no link is provided.

In accordance with §36 of the German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, VSBG), Key Figures is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, as the Service is provided exclusively to businesses within the meaning of §14 of the German Civil Code (BGB). 5. Regulated professions and financial supervision

Key Figures is not a regulated profession within the meaning of §5(1) No. 5 DDG. Key Figures is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, securities exchange, alternative trading system, rating agency, or other regulated financial entity, and does not hold any authorisation under the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz, WpHG), the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz, KWG), or any equivalent foreign legislation. The Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin) is therefore not the supervisory authority of Key Figures. See §4 and §7 of our Terms of Service.

6. Liability for content

As a service provider, Key Figures is responsible for its own content on these pages in accordance with §7(1) DDG and general law. Under §§8 to 10 DDG, however, Key Figures is not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances indicating illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected; any such liability is limited to the period from the time a specific breach of law becomes known. Upon becoming aware of corresponding breaches of law, Key Figures will remove the relevant content without undue delay.

7. Liability for links

The Service may contain links to external websites operated by third parties over whose content Key Figures has no control. Key Figures therefore cannot assume any liability for this external content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content. Linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking; illegal content was not identifiable at that time. Permanent monitoring of the content of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of a legal violation. Upon becoming aware of legal violations, such links will be removed without undue delay.

8. Copyright

The content and works created by Key Figures on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution, or any form of commercialisation of such material beyond the scope of the copyright law requires the prior written consent of Key Figures. Downloads and copies of these pages are permitted only for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content on these pages was not created by Key Figures, the copyrights of third parties are observed; content attributed to a third party is marked as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please notify us. Upon notification of such violations, the relevant content will be removed without undue delay.
